The Bedroomsculpture is the second work from the ”Practical sculptures” series. The title relates to the place of creation. My work is placed in its natural, intimate surroundings, thus allowing the observer insight upon my personal living space and the factors that have influenced its creation. An important aspect in any sculpture is the relation between the work and the surrounding space. However, my question is, when you do not predestine the work’s ”living space”, what are the factors that influence the sculptures proportions and size? While contemplating upon this question have I realised the significance of this photo, originally taken only for documentative considerations.
